The event introduced Xiaomi EV’s five core technologies: E-Motor, Battery, Xiaomi Die-Casting, Xiaomi Pilot Autonomous Driving, and Smart Cabin.

E-Motor: Pushing Performance Boundaries

At the heart of Xiaomi’s electric vehicles lies the innovative HyperEngine V6/V6s and HyperEngine V8s E-motors. These motors, with a revolutionary design featuring Bidirectional Full Oil Cooling Technology and a patented S-shaped oil circuit, outperform traditional powertrains. The HyperEngine V8s, set to be mass-produced in 2025, boasts a global record for E-motors with a maximum speed of 27,200 rpm, 425kW output, and 635N·m peak torque.

Xiaomi’s CTB Integrated Battery Technology sets a new standard with a battery integration efficiency of 77.8%, the highest globally. The Battery Management System (BMS) with ASIL-D ensures top-notch safety with three independent thermal runaway monitors and alarms.

The Xiaomi Die-Casting T9100 cluster, covering 840m², is a game-changer in large die-casting. This technology reduces car weight by 17%, production hours by 45%, and integrates 72 components into one for increased efficiency. Xiaomi’s proprietary Xiaomi Titans Metal, a high-strength, heat-treated die-casting material, further demonstrates the company’s commitment to a full-stack self-researched approach.

Xiaomi stands out in the field of autonomous driving with its Adaptive BEV Technology, Road-Mapping Foundational Model, and Super-Res Occupancy Network Technology. The Adaptive BEV Technology adapts perception algorithms based on scenarios, while the Road-Mapping Foundational Model intelligently navigates complex intersections without relying on high-definition maps. Xiaomi’s Super-Res Occupancy Network Technology achieves unprecedented obstacle recognition accuracy of 0.1m, surpassing traditional networks.

Smart Cabin: Revolutionizing In-Car Experience

The Xiaomi EV Smart Cabin offers a “human-centric” interaction architecture with a 16.1-inch 3K central console, a 56-inch HUD head-up display, and a 7.1-inch rotating dashboard. Powered by the Snapdragon 8295 in-car chip, the Smart Cabin provides an ultimate interactive experience, seamlessly integrating with over 1000 Xiaomi smart home devices. The intuitive in-car OS launches in just 1.49 seconds, showcasing Xiaomi’s commitment to a seamless user experience.
